I really don't go on the computer much these days. Well, perhaps thats a good thing, I dunno. I'm getting very far behind on my messages though, and I havn't had the patience to scan anything, though I've got a decent amount of sketches and the like to scan. One of these days I'll get that done... The stuff in my gallery now is getting very old and bad

Anyways, my current news, as of a couple of weeks ago, is that I now have a puppy! She's a little German Shepard Dog girly named Rayn She's a cute one, I have to get pictures up of her soon. So far she doesn't seem very much like a typical German Shepard. She's incredably noisy most of her waking hours, and so far seems far from corageous, as she whines at just about eveything- though she does enjoy trying to beat up my friends cocker spaniel Benji, who is a fair bit bigger than her currently. So she does have a reluctant bold streak. Anyways,she's a sweetheart who likes to try and eat my feet

I've decided that my family must be cursed or something. As previous journals said, my family's dog, Lucas died about a month ago. About a month before that, while I was gone, one of my sister's degus(a kind of rodent) died. The saturday before this last one, one of my mice- sage, died of old age, which was the same night my little girl cat Buffy got very sick. Somehow she survived until this last Friday night. I buried her in the garden beside Lucas three days ago with the two rodents as company (they had been in the freezer). I'm going to miss her, she was my little sweetheart, and the only person she really liked. She sat on my shoulders, followed me around eveywhere, greeted me with chirping meows when I came home, insisted on drinking from the bathtub while I used it and slept on my head at night. Rest in Peace Buff'rin.

Of my two other cats, they both seem quite healthy, though Clem is going on 18 years old, so despite his gaining weight(a good thing for him), he won't last for too much longer, and of course, my other mouse, Pending is as old as Sage was, and the remaining Degu, being a very social creature, might possibly become depressed. Thankfully, Jonah, my mom's new(ish) chocolate lab pup, is a happy, healthy little man.

I'm rather hoping this curse like thing will leave me alone now that I've moved out of the house. I officially live in the house of ~Medieval-Desire. Next monday I'm almost for sure getting a German Shepard puppy girl! If anyone has any random name suggestions, that'd be awsome. I've a few ideas, but I havn't settled on anything yet. I hope it all works out. I've been puppy searching for a few weeks now, and I was hoping to get one while I'm still unemployed so I can be with them to house train them as much as possible for a week or two before I have to work again. My money isn't going to last for too much longer, and I have a Student Loan to pay back in November.

Anyways, I'll see how it goes. I'm well enough otherwise

Finally I can write up a quick 'I'm back' journal 2 weeks after being officially home... If you read my previous journal, you know the biggest reason why my first week home was honestly the worst week of my life thus far, but I'm feeling just fine now.

Ya, so I'm back from a 3 month long trip to Guatemala, on a University program called 'Outtatown'. If I was to express to you all how awsome it was, it'd take a week of typing, so I won't, as that isn't really what this site is about . A few things I did though are see a vast amount of the country, including both oceans, 2 desert areas-one of which we built houses at for two weeks, the jungle- where we saw the myan ruins called Tikal, Cloudforst highlands- were my group got split into pairs to stay with traditional myan families (no electricity or running water, eating nothing but corn tortillas cooked over the firepit in their kitchen with corn, beans and egg, sleeping on a board beside a hen, her chicks, and two turkeys... the list goes on)... ya, so much stuff, thats hardly a glimpse really. Seriously awsome.

And now I'm home. Its cold still, but I've missed home. And I've missed my art supplies I think 3 months of hardly drawing has made my art suffer a little, but its all good. Things are rather busy around here too. I'm very slowly packing to move in with my best friends ~Medieval-Desire and her husband Shawn. My mom decided to get a puppy after my Lucas died, and I've been helping with him. He's a sweet little man- a 4 month old chocolate lab named Jonah. And I need to find a job at some point... yup.

well, I'm bored of typing, so thats all and I'm not planning to leave for long periods of time for a good long while, so hopfully, art will be more steady if the scanner keeps half behaving.

Today Lucas died. My baby boy is gone and I'll never again be able to pet his sweet head, or get a cold nose in my face in the morning, or even get stepped on by his huge clumsy paws. I was going to go swimming with him this summer, cause he loves swimming. at least i was able take him for one last walk Monday night. He got to splash around in the river though i didnt get to join him. If he'd died even a week ago I'd not have been able to say goodbye, so i guess i'm gratefull for that.

BUT HE WASNT EVEN 2 FRIKING YEARS OLD!
